In the industry since 1982, Tony commenced working as an accountant in a country firm, before moving to the Gold Coast in 1991. Tony specializes in the areas of taxation, restructuring, small business and audit. He holds a Bachelor of Financial Administration degree, is a Registered Company Auditor and Self Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He has expertise in the building and construction industry and has previously been on the board of Directors of a Gold Coast private school.
Having initially commenced his accounting life in 1989, with a Bachelor of Business, Stephen's career progressed into the Taxation and Business Services arena of Public Practice (specialising in advising small to medium sized businesses). Stephen was admitted as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in February 1994. He has broad experience across a wide range of small to medium businesses including business services, taxation, CGT and GST issues. His roles have generally involved a high degree of client contact which has lead to the establishment of strong professional relationships with clients. Stephen loves his sport and is a keen mountain biker and golfer.
Tyson joined Gold Group Consulting in 2004 after moving to the Gold Coast in 1999. He was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2008 after graduating with a Bachelor of International Finance at Griffith University in 2006. Tyson specialises in all aspects of accounting for small to medium businesses including taxation, structuring and due diligence. He has a particular interest in the building and construction industry and presents seminars in this field on a regular basis.
