Stephen Hodgkinson

BBus, CA

Having initially commenced his accounting life in 1989, with a Bachelor of Business, Stephen's career progressed into the Taxation and Business Services arena of Public Practice (specialising in advising small to medium sized businesses). Stephen was admitted as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in February 1994. He has broad experience across a wide range of small to medium businesses including business services, taxation, CGT and GST issues. His roles have generally involved a high degree of client contact which has lead to the establishment of strong professional relationships with clients. Stephen loves his sport and is a keen mountain biker and golfer.

Tyson Flower

BIntFin, CA

Tyson joined Gold Group Consulting in 2004 after moving to the Gold Coast in 1999. He was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2008 after graduating with a Bachelor of International Finance at Griffith University in 2006. Tyson specialises in all aspects of accounting for small to medium businesses including taxation, structuring and due diligence. He has a particular interest in the building and construction industry and presents seminars in this field on a regular basis.

Daniel O'Donnell

BBus, CPA

Daniel started in the accounting industry just before the implementation of the GST system and then commenced work with Gold Group Consulting as an undergraduate back in November 2001. 

Since starting with Gold Group, he has been able to hone his skills in helping clients navigate the often-complex worlds of Income Tax, GST, Superannuation, Fringe Benefits Tax, QBCC financial regulations and technology enabled accounting systems.  He continues  to be able to help clients with micro businesses through to large business often drawing on that knowledge and experience.

Chase Perkins

BCom, CA

Chase joined Gold Group Consulting in 2016 after completing his schooling at The Southport School (TSS) in 2014. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting with a minor in Taxation, in March 2018, and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in March 2022.

Chase works closely with a diverse range of clients, with particular experience assisting AFSL and Credit Licence holders with their reporting obligations, as well as doctors, dentists and other professional service businesses. He enjoys helping clients navigate business structures, providing strategic advice, and assisting with business acquisitions and sales. Chase is passionate about building long-term relationships with clients and providing practical, commercial advice that supports their business growth and financial success.
